Bustart began his artistic career in 1999 with classic graffiti. It was only between 2005 and 2011 that he discovered his interest in street art. During this time Bustart developed and deepened new techniques and, alongside classic lettering, began to work with portraits, cartoons and stencils. In 2011 the artist tried for the first time to mix different styles and to merge comic figures that share the same body structure. Out of these experiments, Bustart’s personal style emerged in 2013, called “GraffitiPop” by the artist. This style combines graffiti, pop art and cartoon.
