Privacy
In short
This site sets no cookies, loads nothing from third-party servers and does not measure what you do here. There is no analytics tool and no advertising. We only hold personal details that you send us yourself: through the newsletter or through a sign-up form.

When you visit this site
Our server records which file was requested, when, and with which browser. The IP address is shortened before it is written to disk: for IPv4 the last part is dropped, for IPv6 everything from the fourth group onwards. We never store the full address. What remains usually identifies a network, not an individual connection.
From these records we count how often the site is visited and which pages are wanted. This happens on our own server, without cookies and without a third-party service. We do not recognise you and do not follow you across visits.
The records are deleted after 90 days. What we have calculated from them we keep longer: how often which page was viewed, with which browser, and which links people arrived through. No addresses appear in it, not even shortened ones.
The site runs on a server operated by Infomaniak in Switzerland.
When you subscribe to the newsletter
We need your email address for that, nothing else. The form sends it directly to rapidmail GmbH, Augustinerplatz 2, 79098 Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany, who send our newsletter on our behalf.
After signing up you receive a mail with a confirmation link. You are only on the list once you click it. That way we make sure nobody signs up an address that is not their own.
You can unsubscribe at any time, through the link at the end of every newsletter or by writing to hallo@isaff.ch. We then delete your address.

When you fill in a form
For membership and similar sign-ups we ask for your name, address and email. The form itself shows exactly what; we do not want more than what is on it.
Your details go to a small service the association runs itself, on the same server in Switzerland as this site. No form provider in between.
For the two confirmation mails, one to you and one to us, we use Mailjet, based in France. They send them on our behalf and see the details from the form in doing so.
We do not delete this data after a set period. A membership continues, and we need your address for the invoice and the invitation to the general meeting. If you leave, we delete it.
When your name may appear on the site
The sign-up form asks whether we may name you publicly. If you say yes, your first and last name appear in the list on Unterstützen, nothing else. If you say no, it appears nowhere, and your membership counts just the same.
You can change your mind at any time, in either direction. A message to hallo@isaff.ch is enough.
Links to other sites
We link to Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and to Google Maps directions for the works. As long as you do not click, none of those services learns about your visit. They are links, not embedded content. What happens after that is governed by the terms of the service in question.
Your rights
You can ask at any time what data we hold about you, and have it corrected or deleted. A message to hallo@isaff.ch is enough.

We adapt this statement when something changes. The version that applies is the one shown here.
