Chinagirl tile

The international street art artist Chinagirl Tile works above all with ceramics. Her work often engages with social and political themes. In 2010 she began her tiles project, which comprises several series of smaller relief tiles that she installs not only in cities but also far from any civilisation. There are over 180 of her artworks worldwide. In large cities such as London, Berlin, Amsterdam, Auckland, Tokyo, Seoul, Cologne and Vienna, but also in remote areas such as the jungles of New Zealand and Colombia, on icy mountains in Ireland, in the marshes of the remote Scottish islands or on sandy beaches in Croatia.
