Chuu Wai

Chu Wai is an artist from Myanmar whose work engages with the intersections of gender, culture and social justice. Her practice is deeply rooted in the cultural and political landscape of her home country, with art becoming a tool for reflection and resistance. In her works, Chu Wai questions social norms and creates space for dialogue and change.

At the Street Art Festival Frauenfeld she is part of the community project with Cup of Colors and, together with the refugee camp of the Peregrina foundation, is creating a mural.

Like three other artists in exile, she will also paint a panel in the Lindenpark.
