Eman Mohammed

Eman Mohammed is a street photographer and artist from Taiz in Yemen. After she decided to leave her home country, her life was shaped by flight and new beginnings: first in India, later in Germany, where she continues her artistic journey. Her work speaks of resilience, memory and a deep bond with home and family. With striking visual storytelling, Eman honours the strength of her people and creates space for voices that often go unheard.

At the centre of her practice is her commitment to women, their stories, their struggles and their strength to rise again and again.

At the Street Art Festival Frauenfeld, Eman Mohammed is part of the community project with Cup of Colors and is creating a mural together with the refugee camp of the Peregrina Stiftung.

Like three other artists in exile, she will also paint a panel surface in Lindenpark.
