Justin Wong

Justin Wong is a comic artist based in London, originally from Hong Kong. His career began in 2007 as a political cartoonist and editorial illustrator for newspapers. He later became an assistant professor at the Academy of Visual Arts of Hong Kong Baptist University. In 2021 he was forced to leave Hong Kong and found refuge in exile in England.

His work deals with the deep pain and loss of those who have lost their home and their hope. Through art it offers comfort and quiet strength.

At the Street Art Festival Frauenfeld, Justin Wong is part of the community project with Cup of Colors and will create a mural together with the refugee camp of the Peregrina Stiftung.

Like three other artists in exile, he will also paint a panel in the Lindenpark.
