Der Ausflug
The conditions in the underpass called for a completely new approach, since as a viewer you cannot take in the overall picture at once and only ever see one section of it. I therefore decided on a storyline in which it should be irrelevant which picture you see first. What I wanted to convey was more the feeling of the bee in the wide world. The story that goes with it may develop individually for each viewer.

About Bax
Huttwil, Switzerland
Artabax, better known as Bax, is a Swiss artist with roots in Bern. Even as a small boy he liked to paint, so that he could picture his imaginings better. What began as outlandish machines are today dreamlike images with which he captures the beauty of life. For him there is nothing finer than nature, which is reflected in his art as well and makes up his unmistakable style. Bax is fascinated by almost anything, likes to hold on to it in a picture and also draws inspiration from artworks of the past.
