Mural by Basil Girard

Basil Girard is the winner of the street art project of House of Winterthur and in 2021 he designed the wall at Bahnmeisterweg on the Sulzerareal in Winterthur. He discovered his passion for drawing early on, trained as a designer, worked as a layout artist and illustrator and later found himself as an “apprentice” with a tattoo artist. He was drawn more and more to the spray can and to painting, and took up street art and art in architecture. Basil is versatile and works with the spray can as well as with brush, roller and stencils.
